Centennial Celebration

Dear Holy Trinity Parishioner,

On behalf of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church and the Greek Community of DFW, we are happy to announce our Centennial Celebration in 2015. This birthday milestone celebrates . . . “100 years of Faith, Service and Culture” in the Dallas and the DFW community.

It’s been 25 years since our last major celebration, our 75th, which many of you were a part of, but some were not. It’s a rare and special opportunity to participate in these events — just think of all the changes in your family and our parish over these last 25 years. Indeed the list is too long for this letter, but consider we were at a different location, have grown as a parish, and had the blessing of witnessing many clergy ordinations, many of whom are still with us today.

There are several sponsorship opportunities throughout the 2015 which highlight various events and services. Some highlights include a six-month Orthodox Ecclesiastical exhibit at the Museum of Biblical Arts starting in March, the return of Preview Night at the Greek Festival in September, and of course the Gala Celebration in November. We invite you to consider your donation at the sponsorship levels on the following pages to support and be a special part of our exciting year and this milestone! There is something for everyone. Many events are free of charge, and there will be individual tickets available.

How else can I be a part of our Parish’s upcoming Centennial?

Please bring your old family photos to Church during Coffee Hour, following Divine Liturgy. We will scan and return them back to you within a week. And, please go www.HolyTrinity.info and fill out the HTGOC Ancestry Questionnaire (under Weekly Bulletin).
